ABOUT FINANCIAL PROSPERITY, LLC: Financial Prosperity, LLC is solely owned by Annette M. Scheaffer. As a legal assistant who has dealt with hundreds of legal clients, especially in the areas of Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, and Probate matters, Annette saw that many clients were seriously overwhelmed when confronted with important financial matters. Annette created Financial Prosperity, LLC to help minimize this “overwhelmed” feeling when such financial issues must be addressed. Annette firmly believes that once you bring your financial house into order, you will be more secure in your financial decision making, and then you will prosper financially and in other areas of your life. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Annette has more than eleven years professional experience as a legal assistant, primarily in the areas of Real Estate, Probate, Estate Planning, Business Entity Organization, Bankruptcy, and Products Liability. Currently, on a contract basis, Annette aides Kansas attorneys in the areas of Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, and Probate matters. Through her work, Annette has developed strong skills in organizing, maintaining, and managing files, preparing organizational reference documents, data-entry in software and in self-created data bases/spreadsheet forms, and other managerial skills. In 2005, Annette was asked by Butler Community College to teach the class LEGAL OFFICE PROCEEDURES, which focused on legal research, organization and management, document preparation, and procedural/substantive law review.

EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION: In 1995, Annette obtained her Associates (A.S.) Degree in Legal Assistance from Wichita State University (Wichita, Kansas). Then in 1998, she obtained her Bachelor’s (B.A.) Degree in General Studies, emphasis on Business, Psychology, and Economics, also from Wichita State University. Annette furthered her education by obtaining her Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from Presidents’ College School of Law (Wichita, Kansas) in 2003. Annette does not practice law in the state of Kansas.
